Citihub is a Filipino social enterprise which aims to reduce the cost of living for low-income workers by providing safe, clean, and affordable housing for as low as P1,700/month (P57/day) at key areas in Metro Manila. We are only able to provide these unrivaled rates through sustainable and eco-friendly construction, with our dormitories primarily being built with recycled shipping containers.
Citihub started out in 2011 as a corporate responsibility program headed by Panya Boonsirithum with the launch of Citihub Mandaluyong. In the beginning, Citihub Mandaluyong only had four shipping containers. As the project gained traction, more containers were added and now the site operates with a capacity of 264 beds with 16 containers. Driven by our mission, Citihub is rapidly expanding with new sites opening in Sta. Mesa and Cainta in 2017.
